    Member of the Board of International Centre for Christian Studies at the Orthodox Church of Georgia, Vice-chairman of the Board (2001 - present).
     One of the founders and member of the Board of Scientific Centre for Historical, Ethnological, Religious Studies and Propaganda (2006 - present).
   Founder and editor-in-chief of Historical Almanac “Klio” (1998-2006), editor-in-chief of the journal “Analebi”, member of Editorial Board of the journal “Logos”.
  Sphere of scientific interests: Social-political, economic and cultural  problems of  the nearest history of Georgia, relations of different nations, peculiarities of the repressions of 1037, issues of genesis of totalitarianism in Georgia, problems of relations between Russia and Georgia, etc.
